Understanding Each Text Case

Sentence Case

This format capitalizes the first letter of the first word in a sentence. Ideal for everyday writing or formal communication.

Lower Case

All letters are converted to lowercase. Useful for normalization tasks or casual text presentation.

UPPER CASE

All letters are capitalized. Best used for headings, emphasis, or attention-grabbing alerts.

Capitalized Case

Every word starts with an uppercase letter, also called Proper Case. Often used in names, titles, and headlines.

Alternating Case

Alternates between lowercase and uppercase with each character. Often used humorously or to mock a tone of voice.

Title Case

Capitalizes the major words in a sentence or headline. Typically used in titles, headlines, and professional headings.

Inverse Case

Flips the casing of each character—uppercase becomes lowercase and vice versa. Can be useful for stylistic or experimental use.
